Personal Chef in Morrisville, NC
Morrisville sits right between Raleigh, Durham and Cary, beside Research Triangle Park and RDU. It’s one of the most international towns in the Triangle, and a lot of the people who live here travel for work.
We bring the food of the world to you. Our chefs cook in your kitchen, from the dishes you grew up with to the ones you’ve only had abroad.
The Travelling Cafe is a collective of personal and private chefs based in Chapel Hill and cooking across the Triangle and beyond.
Life in Morrisville
Morrisville sits right next to Research Triangle Park and RDU airport, so many people here work in RTP or travel often. It is one of the most international towns in the Triangle, with Indian, Persian and Southern food close by and the East Meets West Festival every September.
We have taught cooking classes in RTP, and we cook for the same busy, well-travelled households who live here, including the cuisines they grew up with.
What we cook in Morrisville

If you’re on the road half the month, weekly meal prep means you come home to real food instead of another takeout bag. Tell us your travel weeks and we’ll schedule around them.
Weekly meal prep. If your days run between RTP and the airport, a chef comes to your kitchen once a week, shops, cooks a week of meals to your plan, labels everything and cleans up. One all-in price. Groceries are included.
Dinner parties. Hosting colleagues or family in from out of town? We plan the menu with you, then cook, serve and clean up in your home.
Private cooking classes. A lesson in the cooking of home, or in a cuisine you have always wanted to learn.
Special diets. We cook to the plan your clinician or dietitian set, for GLP-1, AIP, low-FODMAP, diabetic, paleo, keto, athletes and more. Every dietary need, same price. See all the special diets we cook.
Meet some of our chefs
Chef Lane is right next door in Cary. Leslie, who founded the collective in Chapel Hill, and Chef Crene from Raleigh cook here too. Every chef in the collective cooks all over the Triangle and beyond, so the chefs on this page are a few of the many who can cook for you. We match you with the one who fits your household.
