Grata Diner has graciously offered their inviting space as a cooking class location for The Travelling Cafe!  Grata Diner is located in Carr Mill Mall in Carrboro. The entrance is in the back of the mall, directly across from the Harris Teeter grocery store. When attending our evening classes at Grata Diner, please feel free to park at the Harris Teeter lot for ease of access.  
 
Note: When attending our classes at Grata Diner, please wear rubber soled shoes and long hair tied back. During these hands-on cooking classes, we will be working in a bonafide restaurant kitchen, so no slips and falls or loose hairs allowed.
 
Jay, the owner of Grata Diner, has also started a non-profit called Grata Connects. Please check out that story on their website, and come join us for classes after hours. By the way, their food is also awesome, economical, and their entire staff is paid a living wage, so no tips allowed.
