Terri McLernon of The Food Fairy has been in business over thirty years as an in-home personal chef with many chefs working for her, serving households all over the Triangle and Lake Norman, NC. She knows her stuff, and she loves her community! Her latest project (a mobile soup kitchen) had her crafting a commercial kitchen from the ground up! We are honored to use that space for technique and date night classes! The space is in a beautiful, wooded neighborhood with a beatiful outdoor seating area, making it the perfect choice for enchanting date night classes.

The venue is a business of Extraordinary Ventures, a local non-profit organization. It’s mission creating meaningful employment opportunities to highlight the abilities of an often-overlooked workforce: adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
We hold a deep appreciation for Blue Hill due to its steadfast commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. The organization plays a pivotal role in the community by generating employment opportunities through their center. In Leslie’s early thirties, she became affiliated with the organizations People First and Centers for Independent Living. Blue Hill Event Center’s mission resonates profoundly with her values, compelling her to extend her support.
The Travelling Cafe’s class offerings at this location will feature a hands-on approach, providing an interactive and engaging learning experience. The venue lends itself nicely to team-building events.
