Come join our fun, hands-on workshop designed especially for beginners! Chef Drew Smith, formerly of Buku in Raleigh and Ko.an in Cary will guide you through the basics, from rice to rolling techniques.

In this class, you will leave with knowledge of sushi history, a complementary bamboo sushi mat and an understanding of the essential ingredients.

We know life happens. If something comes up after you purchase your ticket, the following policies apply:

• More than 7 days prior to the event, you can receive a full refund, a credit or transfer.

• Less than 7 days prior, you can receive a credit or transfer.

• 2 days or less prior to the event, you can receive a transfer only.

When you purchase a ticket, please share your first name and any guests’ first names so that we can have name tags ready for the class.

Also, indicate any dietary restrictions or anything you’d like the Chef to know prior to class (birthdays, etc.).

Hands-On FAQ: 

This is a hands-on cooking class. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes, tie long hair back, and come prepared to cook. The class and the space are very informal. Relax and make yourself comfortable. Our classes are always full of tips, tricks, multiple recipes, and DELICIOUS food.
