This is a class will be a culinary celebration of tomatoes! Our farmers here in the Piedmont of NC grow some of the finest tomatoes in the world. Join Chef Kurt Patzer as we prepare a meal of 4-courses, all featuring tomatoes. Even dessert! We’ll use many varieties of tomatoes, such as Cherokee Purple, Kellogg’s Breakfast, Sungold and Paul Robison! Which will be your favorite? Do you know the difference between Heirloom, Hybrid and Artisan tomatoes? We’ll talk about that. How about when to choose a beefsteak variety or a globe variety or a Roma variety? In this class you’ll learn a lot about tomatoes, how to prepare them, and most importantly taste a delicious multi-course tomato meal!

Event FAQs
1. DIRECTIONS: If you come through the traffic circle on 15/501 toward Sanford,
our building is the large brick building on the right, between the Fire Station and
the Circle K Gas Station.
2. This is a hands-on class. Wear comfortable shoes and come prepared to cook!
The class and the space are very informal. Relax and make yourself comfortable.
Our classes are always full of tips, tricks, multiple recipes, and DELICIOUS food.
3. If you are unable to make it to class, please let us know.
More than 7 days: Cancellations made more than seven (7) days prior to class
receive full refund, or you may choose to have credit applied to a future class of
your choice. Please state your preference in your email.
Between 2-7 days: Cancellations less than seven (7) days but more than two (2)
days prior to class will have credit applied to a future class of your choice.
Less than 2 days: Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to the class start time
receive no refund or credit. Ingredients have been purchased, chef and staff
booked, and preparations made based on your attendance. You of course may
send a substitute in your place, please advise us of a name change so we can
adjust the roster.
4. PARKING: WHEN YOU GET HERE, park on the LEFT side of the building, in the
lot close to the gas station, and walk around the BACK of the building. Our
entrance is at the top of the handicap ram
5. HAVE FUN! Relax and have fun, and enjoy the food, learning and interaction!
